Life as we know, is a cycle of events and these events are infinite in nature and number. With infinity as the core essence of flow, evolution takes place. Through our presentation tonight, we would like to show this enigmatic expression of passage through times and through tales. It’s about the time untimed, flow untamed, movements unchained.
I first had the pleasure of working with Sanjukta Sinha on her solo project Kin in 2014/15. I took on the role of creative advisor and I was impressed by her unwavering desire to learn and improve herself. She was curious, determined and set on both developing both her skill set and mindset. She is gifted with an exceptional technique and presence and I felt she was at a critical moment in her career where she seeking to explore a more subtle, nuanced and personal expression in her craft. I was pleased with the outcome of the collaboration and I was convinced that she was on the right path to honing her artistry. I am delighted to hear that she has started her own company. It is the perfect vehicle for transferring her language to the next generation of dance talents in India and i wish her and the company every success in the future.
